TOP 5 of Techno artists in 2019

Since the 1980s, techno has been evolving and more and more often meeting in clubs and large-scale festivals around the world. The last 5-8 years techno has been in Top 1 in popularity. The number of techno DJs and sound producers increases every year. At the same time competition grows too. But there are not so many talented and professional artists. We chose the coolest and most promising top artists of 2019.

Amelie Lens

Belgian DJ, sound producer and co-owner of the label Lenske. She was released on such influential labels as Drumcode and Elevate. Amelie Lens is one of the most touring artists of the world, her name is decorated with line-ups of the world’s coolest festivals. But at first, this girl was a part of the underground techno scene.

Richie Hawtin

Richie Hawtin is a father of techno, he has been a huge influence on the Detroit techno scene in the 1990s. In the past 10 years, is one of the most prominent figures in the world electronic scene. Known primarily for its minimalist tracks under nickname Plastikman and technocratic club sets. In 2017, he took the 80th place in the list of the best DJs in the world according to DJ Mag.

Nina Kraviz

Everyone knows her, even those who don’t listen to electronic music. This Russian DJ, producer, owner of the label TRIP, one of the most feminine and sexiest female DJs heads all the best world Top charts,  her live sets have won over the world. Despite the great competition, she manages to save her position.

Dubfire

Dubfire is an American DJ from Iran. Fame came to him when he became a member of the duet Deep Dish. The guys conquered the electronic scene. Moreover, they picked up a Grammy.  Now we know him as techno and house producer who has created several hits including co-producing tracks with Oliver Huntemann and electronic project Underworld. 

Objekt

Berlin-based DJ and producer who is not afraid to experiment with different music genres. He combines a whole set of styles and creates unusual compositions. Mixmag named his single ‘Theme From Q’ their top track of 2017.
